&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The alternative? Buy natural alternatives. These can be found at natural food stores and increasingly, at regular supermarkets. Make sure that you read the label and understand the ingredients - not all products marked 'natural' or 'organic' are, since there are no regulations for what can be claimed (yet!).
